Salman Khan-Sonakshi Sinha starrer ‘Dabangg’ hit the box office like never before. And encouraged by its huge success, the director-producer Arbazz Khan simply set to make a sequel to the Superhit film. Surprisingly when the film is at very primary stage of shoot, it started hitting headlines. As recently at Kanpur Bajaria police station, where the film’s shooting was scheduled to take place, ended up in a huge mess as the police Lathi charged on violent mobs, gathered outside the police station for having a glimpse of their favorite star. As per latest a huge number of Salman’s fans, who were waiting for a long time there to watch Sallu in action got angered on the thought of being cheated and went on a violent rampage. "The crowd was standing there hoping that Salman Khan is coming. To control the crowd we had to resort to Lathi charge. We have filed complaint against many” said ACP Bharat Singh while talking to news persons. As per latest the film’s Kanpur shooting slot has been cancelled due to security reason and it will be shot in Lucknow instead. However the Kanpur publics are not happy with the mishap and many of Salman fans even demanded apology from Salman.
Any way, like ‘Dabangg’, ‘Dabangg 2’ will also have Salman and Sonakshi in the lead, though in the role of villain, Prakash Raj has been roped in replacing Sonu Sood. Instead of Abhinav Kashyap, who directed ‘Dabangg’, this time producer Arbazz Khan will direct the sequel.
