Salman Khan is a person, who has really a heart of gold. Earlier in many incidences, it has been seen that Salman always moves forward in fighting for a cause. However this time the actor, perhaps for his so busy schedules and amidst millions of commitments he makes, this is not impossible to forget one. And recently we came to learn about such an incident, where Salman Khan failed to keep his promise. What surprising is, in that case Salman made his commitment to a very eminent person, namely Prof. Santosh Desai, a Mumbai-based educationist and philanthropist, who runs an NGO- Shloka Missionaries that works for the education of the poor. Salman called up Desai in 2010 and expressed his desire to donate. “Two years ago, Salman took my bank account details. And he told me that he will contribute,” divulged Desai. However even after two years, Desai has not received any donation from Salman. Desai said, that time Salman even tweeted about him: “Prof Santosh Desai ka jawab nahin. Kamaal karte ho yaar Prof Sahib” and also urged his fans and followers to contribute to the cause. Apparently miffed Prof. Desai said he had not expected such thing from Salman. “After that initial call from Salman, I haven’t heard from him. Maybe his promise at that point was just a publicity stunt. Though I won’t like to think so,” said Desai. Any way, we however believe that soon Prof Desai’s wait will be over and Salman will keep his promise.
