Salman Khan celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi!

Bollywood actor Salman Khan celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi at his own residence Galaxy apartments in Bandra, Mumbai.  Salman Khan, who’s now busy shooting ‘Dabangg 2’, took few days off to celebrate the famous festival with friends and family members.  Bollywood’s many who’s who like Boney Kapoor, Preity Zinta, singer Roop Kumar Rathod, actress Amrita Arora, producer Ramesh Tarauni were present at the ceremony.  Salman, sporting being human T-shirt, seen welcoming the guests.  Salman’s brothers Sohail and Arbazz Khan were also seen celebrating the auspicious ceremony.
Salman though is a Muslim by origin, but their family is very much liberal showing respect to the beliefs of other religions. Also their family has a very rich tradition of marrying other religion peoples.  As Salman’s mother, Salma, who’s a Hindu (Sushila Charak) by birth and step mother Helen, a Christian.  Coming to next generation, Salman’s brother Arbazz Khan also married Malaika Arora, who’s a Hindu.  
Actually, the celebration started by Salman’s sister Arpita some 11 years back.  Arpita has been organizing it single-handedly every year since then.  This year too Salman and his family members are seen worshiping the great Ganpati idol with serene heart.
