Katrina agreed! Ranbir opted out!

As per latest, ace director-producer Prakash Jha has all set to make a sequel to his highly appreciated film ‘Rajneeti’.  Report says, in ‘Rajneeti 2’ also, Katrina will play the lead role.  Prakash Jha, who is currently busy shooting his next 'Satyagraha' with Amitabh Bachchan, has already given a hint to Katrina about the storyline.  And Katrina, whose performance in ‘Rajneeti’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor gained huge accolades, didn’t waste any time to give her nod.    "There are very few scripts that are genuinely entertaining.’Rajneeti' is a script which has been worked on for years. I did hear the idea; I think it's a genius and brilliant idea. I really hope working with Jha again,” said Kat recently in an interview.  However, much to surprise, Ranbir Kapoor has opted out of the proposed sequel citing his packed schedules, in spite of the fact that ‘Rajneeti’ provided the much-needed boost to his career.
As ’Rajneeti’, which was based on an eminent female Indian politician’s life, the story of ‘Rajneeti 2’ will also revolve around the politician’s character Indu, played by Katrina.  However who will step in Ranbir’s shoes, is yet to settle.
